Walking on the edge is not only a description for the athletes action in this portfolio - it also could be a characterisation from my path as a photographer. Maybe that’s why I loved it so much, working on this portraits about a sport, between walking and falling…

Over a whole summer I’v been shooting a lot high- and slackline content. On the road with a group of notorious athletes, from a multiple world record holder and rookies, 
to legend-like highline trailblazers - it was a huge pleasure to work with the crème de la crème of slacklining.
