It’s not so easy anymore, finding nice places where you’ll be alone. For me such locations are hidden retreats to re-fuel my energy and enjoying time - often without taking pictures…

One of those hidden gem’s is luckily just around the corner from my flat and after a 20 minutes ride, I’ll be there. Sounds great? Well, it actually would be superb, if there wouldn’t be the tourism season… During this time the whole valley is crowded with hundreds of tourists - but during off-season, on bad weather days or while the winter closure, this is just an awesome place to be. And on some days, it feels like being somewhere in the Canadian wilderness or at a remote fjord in Norway. For a long time I called it my living room, because I’v been there 3 to 4 times a week. And I have to confess: I still love it to be there! Putting on a camp fire, enjoying a cold beer and having a great time together with my dog. And on some days, I also had my camera with me…
